| Booking music in Humboldt and beyond. Having lost her teaching job in June of 2009, Tanya "TR" Hunt started her own music booking agency, Spirit Vibrations. Booking shows all over California, mainly in the San Francisco Bay Area and her home of Humboldt since August of 2009, TR wishes to expand her booking to all over the world. TR has worked with international artists such as PATO BANTON and local artists such as the JUCE CREW. TR states she doesn't make a lot of money on her shows (and admits to sometimes losing money), but TR goes on to say that her focus has always been to help artists and venues come together to share music with the world, therefore helping people feel more closely connected. TR believes that the benefits are great and she loves what she does. Who could ask for more? | |
