| Percussion Hi, My name is Tyler Hunt and I am currently a senior percussion student completing my music degree at Humboldt State University. I currently play in the percussion ensemble, calypso band, and a samba group. I am looking for a couple more students to teach on Saturdays or Sundays. I have been playing percussion since I was in the forth grade and have a lot of experience in a variety of ensembles. I can teach traditional orchestral and marching percussion, including snare drum, tympani, mallet instruments and all other orchestral percussion instruments. I also am very experienced playing samba, and can also teach several hand drumming styles. I also teach a variety of drum set styles and can teach steel pans. Along with this I can teach someone how to read music and also some music theory as well. I am looking for beginning to intermediate players of any age, but I also can offer a few things to advanced players as well. I charge $20 per hour and offer discounts for longer lessons. | |
