| The Pastime Silent Movie Orchestra Our tiny "orchestra" started up in 2007 and has performed period music to silent films, both feature-length and short 2-reelers at the Redwood Coast Jazz Festival and at the Fortuna Concert Series. Instrumentation: violin, clarinet, trombone and piano. In '07 we performed to Buster Keaton's 'The Cameraman, and in March '08 we presented Harry Langdon's 'Tramp, Tramp, Tramp.' Film shorts include Keaton's The Playhouse and Langdon's Remember When. On Nov. 8, 2014, we will be presenting 2 film shorts at the Fortuna Concert Series, performing to Charley Bowers' 'Now You Tell One' and Keaton's 'The Playhouse.
