| Nucleus Nucleus is a constantly evolving musical unit founded in 1999 in Arcata, California. After honing their chops and determination in the isolated tranquility of Humboldt County, the band has been touring the country ever since. It's a Rock'n'Roll trip, with excursions into club, dub, world rhythms, jazz and blues, and all steeped in improvisation. Driving ambition and attention to detail enable the band to navigate a wide range of musical frontiers, creating a sound that is at once diverse and focused. Nucleus released its first, self-titled CD in 2001 and “Live from the Center” on the Live Discs Label in 2002. Currently the band is self-releasing live shows and has plans to complete a new studio album in 2004. Members of the Homegrown Music Network since 2001, Nucleus has also been featured in Relix magazine and has been garnering recognition from all corners of america. |
