| Humboldt Salseros - the Humboldt Salsa Dance Scene Humboldt County has a small but fun Salsa scene. Some of the Clubs and resturants have Salsa nights each month. We also have private parties once a month, call for location. We also have an excellent Salsa Dance Band - Ponche - who play a few times a month at local clubs. They bring out a group of beautiful, handsome, fun, easy-going salsa dancers. Salsa Lessons are offerd by numerous instructors including Center Activities at HSU; the HSU PE department; Tien, Amy, Jeff, Myself, and others in varous locations in Arcata. I offer private salsa lessons for beginner and intermediate. Lessons are $15 singel and $25 couples for a two hour session. Call or email for information. |
