They may perform in other areas as well. The Lazybones Bluegrass Band grew out of the Arcata region of Humboldt County, California. The band has been active in the area since 1997. The Lazybones play original and traditional style Monroe influenced bluegrass. The Lazybones have played with: Leftover Salmon, String Cheese Incident, Carlos Santana at the Fillmore in San Francisco; also Yonder Mountain String Band, Single Malt Band, Jack Straw, Asylum Street Spankers, The Larry Keel Experience, and the Weary Boys in the Arcata area.
